Country First? Not for these scumbags

I read this article and was instantly pissed off (even though a lot pisses me off nowadays).

From Crooks and Liars, the GOP in Michigan is seeking to exclude people who have lost their homes in the foreclosure crisis from voting.

This is abominable.  This is despicable.  This is the Republican party.  Country first?  I think not.

Incent corporations to off shore jobs, rather than incent corporations from keeping jobs in the US.  Country first?

Provide massive tax breaks for the richest of Americans even though we are fighting a $10B per month war(s), have a record deficit, an increasing trade deficit and a rising unemployment rate.  Country first?

Lastly, a little humor.

How did we get Country First?

These pigs in lipstick have taken country completely out of the equation and substituted "Party".

You know "If it's good for the Party, it's good for the Country."

"Although it is not true that all conservatives are stupid people, it is true that most stupid people are conservative." John Stuart Mill

They don't give a rat's ass about the party either.  What they DO care about is enhancing the wealth of their political benefactors.

So instead of Country, you need to insert <Company Name>.

As in, What's good for General Motors is good for the USA.

Or, what's good for Exxon is good for the USA.

Or even, what's good for the UBS (Union Bank of Switzerland) is good for the USA.

A Republican President actually said one of those quotes.  And meant it.

Its not theoretical, its established fact.  that is how they feel.

"Country First" is the McCain/Palin credo, not necessarily mine.  I am just highlighting the irony between their platform message and the platform itself.

Not sure if you got that.
