One of McCain's main red herring talking points is that Obama won't meet him in the town halls.  He's going to use this argument in the debates, watch.  McCain has about 5 red herrings, and the town hall is one of them.  Now, if Obama gives out a bunch of tickets to his supporters, and some Ron Paul republicans, you know the REAL conservatives, then McCain will never come to the town halls.  Then Obama can use that as a rebuttal, and say, not only did I offer to host a town hall, but you denied me after complaining the whole time.  So he could paint McCain as a flip-flopper.  It's terrible to have to use these tactics, but to fight a Rove, you must be smarter than a Rove.  Also, this town hall request isn't REALLY cheating, because it's never meant to be fair in the first place.  McCain stacks his audiences, all 10 people, but they limit the capacity of the venue so people get stuck outside.  I see what they're doing.
