Who's squirming now?

It seems that things are changing in the McCain/Palin camp.

Just pointing out a couple of items:

McCain taking over Palin's Troopergate scandal
It looks like McCain doesn't trust Palin to address this growing scandal.  She used to be "for" cooperating before she was "against it".

Carly will disappear
Poor Carly Fiorina spoke the truth about McCain and Palin and they're ability to run a company.  Now she's being blacklisted by the McCain campaign.

McCain bounce is flattening
The Palin phenomenon is taking negative hits in the media now that we're getting to know her better.  So, McCain is likewise losing soem ground.

McCain softens on the AIG buyout
All of the greedy CEOs that McCain railed against must have said something to Johhny boy and now he's backtracking slightly.  By the way, congratulations to everyone for now being a major shareholder of AIG stock!

McCain is now all for regulation!
What would Phil Gramm think?

Thanks!  It feels great to be a wealthy stockholder.  I went to Taco Bell yesterday and ordered a number 8.  I had enough change left from my fiver to buy two full shares of Lehman Brothers stock.  I ate about 23 shares worth of tacos and lemonade.

Today I had 75 shares of Lehman Bro worth of Mediterranean food.

That's 35 shares of Freddie Mac or 21 shares of Fannie Mae.  Only 3 shares worth of AIG though.

I'm curious though, do the Lehman Bro certificates have double cushion layers for maximum softness?

I also noticed that the polls are starting to shift back to Obama. Two days ago, McCain was up 2.1%, now his lead is only 0.6%

Losing is what McCain was born to do.  He's done it before, and he'll do it again.  In fact, the Japanese pronunciation of his name, Makein, is just one syllable away from the word makeinu, which means "loser" (literally, "losing dog").

You can't teach an old, losing dog new tricks.
