Oh yes that happened a few days ago. No need to wear that darned American hat unless absolutely necessary... and only on special occasions.
Which begs the question: do they ever have both hats off and if so, what's underneath the hats? And more importantly, what are they hiding underneath those hats?! Perhaps some horns or something.
I'm sorry guys, I'm just concerned about this whole hats issue, I mean, are there other hats in their collection too that we are not aware of, as Americans? Is there a Saudii hat (or gutra, whatever)? Is there like a Fred Flintstone Water Buffalo hat? Perhaps they also have yamakas for when they are feeling particularly Jewish. And deep down inside I hope they have a fez-hat for when they are feeling old-school Turkish;)
