Bush's pathetic deluded defense of his role post-Katrina

In his final press conference, George "Worst President Ever" Bush was asked why the federal response to Katrina was so slow.  His deluded defense was another pathetic attempt by the lamest of ducks to push the responsibility he gave oath to on to others so he can sleep well at night.  Bubble boy will leave office in his self-absorbed daze only to wonder why there comes that knock on the door, late at night, subpoenas served, Karl Rove's testimony dragging him off to terstify on his own, no Cheney lap to sit in --- the sad, incredulous cretin.

  if  you  want  to  lay  blame  on  what  went  wrong  with  the  Katrina  disaster, first  look  to  mother  nature, then  look  to  citizens and  local  government  to  organize  and  evacuate. then  to  state  government  to  do  the  same. Perhaps  if  New Orleans  had  someone  with  obamas  community  organization  skills  relief  my  have  been  better. But  it  does  not  fall  on  Bush  unless  you  just  dont  know  how  to  handle  disasters. and  apparently  the  libs  in  power  at the  time  did  not  know  how  to  handle  this  disaster

You really should re-read exactly what went down with katrina, there is enough blame to go around, but the bulk of it lands on Bush, and his appointee to fema, a man who should not have had ANY such power as he had 0 experience at the job, and was appointed to the position out of nepitism and favor returning.

The local government had flaws, but nothing NEARLY as bad.  For example, the mismanagement of aide bieng shipped to other states (even the other fucking direction) due to fema.   The fact that the Fema director seemed more concerned with his hair/looks/makeup than with the job of SAVING PEOPLE!!!!.  &nbs p;  Bush's disgustingly lacking understanding that his Appointee was mismanaging the entire thing. 

To blame the local government and Mother nature soley for this mans ineptitude is Ignorant and blatantly retarded.

and to blame the citizens on there inability to evacuate locally?  the entire city was inundated, bus's did not have the capabilities of evacuating even a PORTION of the total populace, hence why bus's were asked for but did not arrive for days (fema director did not sign off on the paperwork or organize the bus's to evacuate people). 

Even the most organized populace STILL would of suffered tremendous losses, as the bus/people ratio was Severely and grossly innapropriate.   Its just like the titanic, only even worse, there were not enough life boats for the passengers.

Bush was the leader in charge, not the libs,  Congress holds 0 power when it comes to Fema/emergency relief etc,  That is ALL dictated by the president.    ; You want to claim liberals were in power?  heh...  mebe politically but really your ignorance is showing.  when it comes to emergency management there were 2 talking heads that were in charge, that was the fema director and BUSH. 

Neither one of which did their job to even 20% of effectiveness, and people died because of it. 

Bush deserves to be imprissoned for gross negligence and incompetance.   And the fema director should spend the rest of his life bieng told he took a job he KNEW he was not qualified nor skilled enough to do, while hes sitting in the same cell as bush.
