Well it's the same old thing in a new picture

So it's a new time, new picture with some new faces, but damn it's the same old back ground isn't it?

FOB Friends of Barack are making quite a stir in the back ground.  It's the same old Washington.  Mr. Richardson at least cuts his ties quickly and hopefully painlessly for the new administration.  Won't stop the press from babbling about it for weeks.

Great another politician thinks he is above the law and tries to get some money boosters a government job.  to be sure Mr. Richardson is innocent until proven guilty, but there's enough evidence somewhere to warrant a grand jury investigation and for him to step down.

This isn't a mark for Mr. Obama, this is a mark on the country and the way our politicians do business.

Why do these political types continue to fill headlines with this BS?  Are they that stupid?  Some are, some are in the business to feed their egos.  Come on, it doesn't matter what side of the aisle they are on, too many of them try to pull it off.  Sure not all get caught and others who do just get their hands slapped, but they don't stop.

From Alaska to Florida, Minnesota to New Mexico, or Massachusetts to Nevada it just doesn't stop.  Course we as voters are guilty as well, we keep electing these people.

You are right in the fact that this is a prime example of how politics has always been, no matter what country or time you might be looking at..."He who has the gold makes the rules" is the Golden Rule... You are wrong in the assertion that this isn't a mark on Obama - IT IS - Obama was supposed to clean up the way we did politics - he placed himself above the rest in terms of political cleanliness and stature, and these continued acts by him and his associates tarnish that image badly - I can yet remember a transition that has been so scandal ridden (Maybe Clinton 93, but even that was tame compared to this bunch!) :)
