If you didn't watch the sad and the shameful but pretty funny rock of Love Charm School reunion. Well you missed probably was the greatest moment in reality tv history.

Trash TV (none / 0)
TYT needs to make a trash/reality TV segment a staple of the third hour. There's just too much good garbage on TV right now (Momma's Boys, The Bad Girls Club, and the list goes on and on and on).

PS---I didn't think it got any dumber than youtube comments but boy was I wrong.

Yeah Megan said some mean things about Sharon and Ozzy, but what do you expect when someone tells you that you shouldn't breed.  Entertaining, but not too classy Sharon and expect to pay a hefty fine out of court for this one.

But it sounds like you back me up on the idea that a short trash/reality TV segment should be a third hour staple?

I have a feeling that TYT received a lot negative feedback after Jayar's 1st reality show segment.  Personally I would definitely enjoy an occasional reality tv dose, but I could also see why this might drive some people crazy.

I started off following Charm School since a lot of the girls came from Rock of Love, but stopped watching after I had enough of Sharon.  I usually try to keep my reality tv watching to 1 or maybe 2 shows a week - my new favorite being Rock of Love Bus 3 and I have a habit of talking about it for some reason.

Also for the record - I can't stand Survivor and the Real World for some reason, but I do like watching your Bad Girl's Club on occasion.

As for a reality tv segment, you have to keep in mind that most of the feedback is going to be negative because many people are afraid to admit their guilty pleasures.

So they quietly enjoy it while the people who can't stand it (many of the same people who generally complain about the third hour, Ana, sports segments, etc.) bitch and moan.

The bottom line is that there's a reason that these shows are on and it's not because they don't get ratings. Besides, is it any worse than segments like What Would Jesus Do?

There is already enough CRAP on the television to fill anyone's day.

I intentionally stopped watching television 3 years ago to get away from all the Real Life TV bullony. So I certainly don't wish to see or hear ANY of it on TYT. In fact, I would be finding something else to do with my time if this skanky crap were to be included on TYT.

For TYT to make occasional reference to these silly shows to illustrate a point is one thing, but since these shows and incestuous topics etc can be found on TV, lets leave them there. For those that want to watch that shit, they can stay home and let their ass get fat while watching this crap, or they can record the show so they can see it after work. But PLEASE spare us on TYT.

I'm going to assume you don't, in which case it's a moot point. Hell, if you DO it's a moot point all things considered.

Stopped watching television? I plead the 5th, but I will say that having a DVR makes it much more likely that you'll end up watching stuff you'd otherwise never watch.

Actually I watch/listen to all 3.5 hours of TYT (none / 0)

and have since September (at least all 3 hours until I became a member).

And I DO enjoy seeing these tidbits occassionally. But since the TV already has the shows and YouTube always has clips, I'd rather not see or hear an entire hour of it on TYT. I'm sure there is much more interesting news and/or information that can be (and is) presented and shared on TYT during the 3rd hour as in the 1st two hours.

All I am saying is, I just don't think TYT would benefit by filling the entire 3rd hour with this crap, which is how I interpreted the intent of original post to implicate.
