I didnt however see Glenn Becks weak sauce show in these stats... As a Liberal living in Texas I hear a bunch of Conservatives claim Glenn Beck is the most watched out of all "political" shows so I would like his stats so that I can hopefully boast about my Buds at TYT!!

I knew the man had alot of viewers but damn... I am one who watches his show for comedic purposes (about 3x a week) but even though his numbers are as high as they are it is hard for me to believe that those numbers are due to viewers who actually identify with his ideology. I know some of these viewers watch so that they can see what kind of nonsense he is spewing but maybe I am being naive in this assumption...

Way to go TYT.  They MSNBC 10 pm slot would be well deserved.  You should order the TYT army to email or fax your numbers to MSNBC.  By the looks of how bad Fox is beating them...they need the help.

Way To go

I have no idea how accurate the tv viewship data is.  How the heck do they know if I watched the news or Spike TV or preview channel for hours on end.  On YouTube, the views statistics is precisely the number of views that a particular channel actually received.  TheYoungTurks YouTube channel is blowing up lately.  Awesome.  Hey, maybe we can get TYT on actual television so we can see how the really do compared to the networks.

They use the Nielsen Ratings which are survey results.  Except instead of calling everybody up they hook a box up to your TV if you are selected that records everything you watch.  I believe they also have you enter a code on the remote when you sit down to watch so they record who is the household is watching what.  They also know how long you watch the program so if you only watch half of a program you are counted as half a viewer.

On Youtube, as soon as the video starts you are counted as a viewer even if you don't watch the whole thing.  If you watch 5 TYT clips you will be counted as 5 viewers.  Also the TYT Youtube numbers are for the whole day and not just 1 hour.
