Daily Blog #2 Freedom and Religion

Hate the war love the soldier
Attack the media not the people
Politics forced to lie to make people happy
Truth makes people angry
In lies we find truth, in chaos we find order, in death we find life
Freedom comes by choice, America is not free as those might believe. In fact his country has more restrictions than most. The only thing that saves anything is the Constitution but more and more the courts are changing the interpretation of it and therefore changing the outcomes of the once great ideas.
Religion is the source of most destruction on earth. Dare I say it? I suppose I'm not going to the sunny side of the heaven. People are willing to die and kill others on their beliefs, people are defending their home against, what they believe to be enemies. Can you blame them? Nobody can tell me that they would not defend their home if it were to be invaded. Than you can retaliate and say we wouldn't get invaded cause we didn't do anything wrong or we are right. Under who's view, ours? More people hate us than like us in this world, I don't see how we can sit here and say we are right and the world is wrong? Arrogant a little?
Almost 7 billion people on this planet and over 80% of them have some sort of religion. So we will keep forcing our beliefs on everyone cause we know without a shadow of a doubt that they are wrong. If people would pull their head out of their asses long enough to understand that nobody is right and nobody is wrong. Religion is an opinion and just that, your own thoughts. Would it makes sense to argue with someone that said blue was their favorite color and yours is red? It is the same for religion, you are basically telling someone they are wrong for believing in something you don't. Since when do we or anyone else become that damn special.
And take a moment to think logically and rationally about this. Are all caring and loving God, according to our bible kills anyone who opposes him, disobeys him, or displeases him, and it was through Jesus that he died for our sins to protect us from this judgment. See anything wrong with that? How can a loving and caring God be the most destructive force in this world? And its by his sons forgiveness that we are forgiven and our lives spared? Tell me again why we worship the very entity that would have us dead if not for his son? On a different point of view we pray for things to come or change or for better health upon others. We also believe in science to an extent (for you religious nuts out there). With that said why do we pray for cancer or critical care patients but not amputations? We know that legs and arms can not grow back and we know this using science. If I pray for my cancer to be cured and after surgery or therapy my cancer is gone than God did it or it was a miracle only God could have done, science gets not credit however if I prayed for my Arm to grow back you would tell me its impossible. Why? Does God discriminate? If not than your religion vs science is flawed. It is scientifically impossible for limbs to grow back and religion would agree on this. Science also states that with certain treatments we can rid cancer and other illnesses, religion argues this? People know that science can fix these problems but only because God allows it? Or we too naive to see that and just assume that God cures all of this and science is wrong?
Look at it like this without God:
Cancer is cured because: Radiation therapy, surgery, chemical therapy. Science has done what it could.
Limbs don't grow back: Science is not yet at the point of regrowing bone structure but coming close with stem cell research.
Paralyzed: Science has grown in this area and allowed some to receive functions in extremities.
With God in the picture:
Cancer is cured because it wasn't your time, we prayed for you, a miracle
Limbs don't grow back: Unknown, didn't pray hard enough, God made a rule that forbids it.
Paralyzed: A miracle, God feels that if we pray enough he will give us some movement but not all, half the time. In some cases God will allow the person to walk if they have live a righteous life.
If you compare the two doesn't one see quite absurd compared to the other. One is rational and logical and understandable while the other makes almost zero sense.
Just my two cents for the day.
