Report on NYC public option event

Just came back from the NYC event, I had to get back to the office for work. It was a pretty solid turn out. About 50 to 70 people. Not bad for the middle of the day with such little advanced notice. Time-Warner/CNN security guys seemed annoyed and talked to the cops about us but NYPD was super cool and didn't bother us at all (as long as we didnt block the sidewalk). How much coverage do you think we will get on CNN? My guess is zero. I hope you guys make a ruckus in LA.

I would say that everyone showing up to the events today should be Turk Of The Week but I'm not sure how that would work.

You deserve the Turk of the Week, Ihavenobias.  You have been very active spreading the word.  The event was wicked fun.  I just know that I'm going to get pissed when Bauchman's event gets all the coverage.

NYC demonstration video clips (none / 0)

I started uploading video from the NYC event. All raw and unedited and only about 1 minute each. Haven't even watched them myself- just plugged it in and uploaded. Hope they can get a couple of decent shots at least. Anyway, I"m glad I went! Here are the links if anyone is interested, but they will only be up for a little while before I delete them.

I'm obviously not a professional videographer and I had a cheap camera, but I think you get the idea. (I also had a toddler with me so I couldn't focus too much on filming.) Sorry the wind is so loud. It was fun though.
