...to wake the American people from the daydream they've been having for the last 30 years, then I'm all for it. You think Gitmo is the first time we've tortured people? Hell, our police do it to citizens sometimes. Unless we take a stand against torture, the powerful will use it against the powerless over and over. That may seem fine when you're the powerful one, but if you are in the wrong place and the wrong time and the police like you as a suspect for a murder that needs to be solved quickly, well...

I say good for Shep. I hope some Republicans fell out of their Craftmatic Adjustable Beds when he said that.

Either this guy will soon get fired from Fox, or fox is hurting and is pulling a lil on the breaks for their propaganda machine.

Im also surprised there are not MORE journalists at least pretending to be outraged like this. They've pretendedd like nothing has been going on for so long, they lost their ability to react reasonably.

I read the memo from the Justice Dept. on torture.... um, yeah, we tortured and the fact that people are trying to defend tactics that we deemed illegal and the fact we as a nation smacked other countries on the hand for using those tactics were doing ourselves....

For shame.  I swear, reading that torture memo was torture:-)

I know Shep says "We dont f*cking torture."  But does he really say what he believes torture is.  He may believe what was done was not torture.

Have a long history of redefining words to fit their notions. E.G. hand drawn "evidence" of mobile bio-weapons labs.
