Please, if you get a chance ask an elected state or federal politician…When can we get the same coverage that you have?

Do what you have to do for the low income to get them the care they need, But leave mine alone it works for me .
I will say it cost me 1400.00 a year not to bad, I think I it will cost me more if i have to take the Government option, Ho and my employer pays the rest.

We must come up with something for the ones that are not Insured, That will not break the bank.

When you say it costs you 1400 per year are you including your employer's present contribution?  If so, what plan do you have should you lose your job or your employer goes south or refuses to pay a share in your plan due to cut backs or rising premiums?  What happens if you become sick for an extended period of time and your provider deems it neccesary to alter or stop your coverage, (they are there to make a profit after all)?  These are questions that elected politians should be addressing to protect the average citizen.  Yes, I agree those who cannot or are refused health care should be covered by a health care plan.  Breaking the bank, which is where we are headed now, ultimately could be avoided by a universal plan in that government plans are far less costly to administer, (2% of total in Canada as apposed to 30% in the US).  Yes I know there might be a wait in Canada, that system is not perfect, but none are, even the one here in the US.

Who decides if you get a procedure ?

anyone that says they are happy with the current system isnt paying attention

My dr. makes that choice and as long as i stay with my dean health , whice is a big clinic, or st marys hosp. its all good for 22 yrs now.
Yes i am sure it can change and get alot worse, but no one will say what it will cost me, not even an idea , To take this government plan . They must know somthing about it by now. Thanks CD for the commit.
