But that sound you heard was just air escaping.  Unless you were talking about a zombie.  Sometimes their moaning can seem like a come on, but trust me, it's not.  When they talk about brains, they don't mean oral sex.

This one started out bad and went downhill from there, and then crashed and burned leaving a crater half-a-mile wide.

You guys must have set some kind of record this time.  My hat is off to you.

I know Pellegrino80 he told me about this site, why you gotta be such an ass towards him for?

by Corvettes66 on 07/19/2009 07:48:39 PM EST

[ Parent ]
Before you figured out that your habit was one of the things that gave you away, you repeated the first line of your comment in the subject of the comment...

...as both Pelligrino80 and Corvettes66.

You've made the same unjust accusations under both IDs.  You've used the same language pattern under both IDs.  You've misunderstood the same things under both IDs.  How likely is it that two people in the same conversation on this site would not know what the widely-known cliché "from the horse's mouth" means?  And how many people would think it's an insult?

Only you.

And you insult people without provocation under both IDs.  I never made any disparaging or accusing or even tangentially critical remarks at all about you.  I all did was assume that you'd forgotten the link to the original article and provide it.  Yet you started insulting me for doing so.  And now you are insulting us by thinking that we would believe such a stupid lie that you are not using those two IDs.

You are both Pelligrino80 and Corvettes66.

I don't mind that you have two IDs.  I have used sockpuppets myself.  I don't even mind that you're obviously not very bright since you could have escaped this whole thing unscathed by simply acknowledging an oversight in not providing a link to the work you tried to plagiarize.

But what I do mind is your dishonesty.  You did plagiarize someone else's work and turned to insults and a sockpuppet for defense.  Your lies about your sockpuppet simply give us additional reasons to distrust and disrespect you.

You make up stories and accuse everyone as a Sock Puppet

by Corvettes66 on 07/21/2009 08:23:42 PM EST

[ Parent ]
You emailed Pelligrino80 calling him a stealing snake, something that you probably won't admit to, and kept posting on all of his blogs accusing him plagiarizing. Pelligrino80 didn't say he wrote any of the articles, he had sources linked to them, and just started learning how to use these blogs. He doesn't know how to use some of the html commands on here likes most people do here. You are just making up all of this to make yourself look as if you think you did nothing wrong. The way you were treating him looked to me like you were trying to get rid of a newbie who just wanted to be a part of TYT. There was no reason to of been calling him names an accusing him of plagiarizing, you should of asked him nicely can you put up the sources where you got it from?

by Corvettes66 on 07/21/2009 08:37:47 PM EST

[ Parent ]
You were trying to steal two articles by posting them without attribution.  For the first one that I read, I simply posted the link to it, making no comment about you at all, and saying that people could read the article "from the horse's mouth", so to speak.

That means, "from the original author".

You first betrayed yourself when you got mad at me for posting the link.

Then you betrayed yourself when you used the same posting style as both Corvettes66 and Pelligrino80.  By that, I mean of course that you repeat the subject of your comment as the actual first phrase of your comment.  That is a unique behavior.

Then you betrayed yourself by claiming under both IDs that I was insulting you with that "horse's mouth" comment, even though everyone else in the world knows that that is NOT an insult, and that my comment didn't refer to you at all.

Then you betrayed yourself by saying that you had been looking for the link, while it took me less than a minute to find it.

You were plagiarizing someone else's work -- and you did it TWICE.  Since calling a thief a "stealing snake" is always appropriate, it sent that message to you, hoping that it might encourage you to simply go away and never come back.

I don't like theives.  And you are one.

I know who Pelligrino80 is, he is on my friends list on youtube, he told me to sign up with him on TYT. I am not Pelligrino80! He was pissed off at you for name calling him a "Horse mouth" thinking it was a derogatory name to call a Democrat, and asked me to try to gain up on you! His English isn't that great. You keep accusing me as him, I am not his sock puppet haha

I voted no. I don't think anything is immoral. The only thing that matters to me is ethics...

I think if the animal is hurt, it's definately wrong. If the animal likes it, I'm not sure. But immoral? What's the point in debating morality? Morality is whatever the Pope or your Imam or your pastor says. And these people tend to be *MORONS*. Why do I care if *your* priest thinks something is against the will of his god? I care more about the will of the dog. Get it? Dog... god...

by Sorenzo on 07/17/2009 02:32:17 AM EST

right and wrong  and it has nothing to do with religion.

If the cat likes it go ahead
if the 3 yr old girl likes it go ahead

both of those things are

WRONG
PERIOD

Well, the problem with morality is that it's so subjective.

Sure, it's true it isn't necessarily tied to religion, but it often is.

The point is: It depends too much on culture, society, and the majority opinion. If you're basing your sense of right and wrong on what other people think instead of evaluating evidence for what a given phenomenon does, for good or ill, you're just as likely to be for bestiality as against it, or for cannibalism as against it, and so on. If you lived in a society where "morality" meant eating your parents once they die, as some cultures do, you'd have a completely arbitrary reason to support it rather than be against it. The same goes for anything else. If you lived in the Christianity-plagued middle ages, you might have been inclined to think it a moral duty to burn jews and atheists and heretics at the stake as witches. Why? Well, obviously, because it's the right thing to do, innit? Why? Because everyone else thinks it is, and a hundred million bigots can't be wrong. And to be quite fair, it was common knowledge that witches ate babies and drank blood, anyway.

Maybe I'm ranting. My point is just... Morality is a subjective thing; Like religion and personal preferences, it is pretty much a matter of aesthetic opinion. This makes it useless as a standard for debate.

Well, why do I think it's a subjective thing? Because there's no objective answer to such a question as, "Is Bill O'Reilly more or less moral than Cenk Uygur?". Obviously, Cenk Uygur is more honest, more compassionate, harder working (especially compared to his pay grade), and so on. On the other hand, Bill O'Reilly is a good Christian (because he says so), he's obviously more successful (which, in some circles, is a sign of morality), and he has the decency to talk as if he didn't commit sexual harassment (like Republicans have the decency to speak out against their own affairs to extreme degrees).

My point? You can surely vote based on morality - it establishes whatever the moral majority is - but it's a lousy standard for debate.

As for bestiality: I'm inclined to think it's unethical unless the animal starts the act on its own. And yes, it's fucked up.
As for cannibalism: Meat is meat. As long as you don't kill people in order to eat them, there's little reason why the worms deserve a decent meal more than a fellow human. And yes, it's fucked up.

Saying the world was round was going against god and was viewed as immoral. Morality mainly depends on society and shouldn't be confused with kindness.

The better question i think is "Is beastiality fucked up?"

Yeah i think its pretty fucked up.

by xhectorx on 07/17/2009 03:34:02 AM EST

Yes you heard me...

Moral or immoral. Having sex with animals is legal in Denmark (where i live) as long as you don't harm them.

Now that doesnt mean theres people fucking dogs on every street corner. Actually i think it's rather uncommon even if it's legal.

Is it moral or immoral? I don't really believe in right and wrong. I think each case is different and should be treated differently. I guess it depends on whether the animal likes it or not??

Let's have a constructive debate instead. Why is it "wrong" to have sex with an animal if the animal likes it??

fucked up i agree with xhectorx - but wrong?

by DanishGuy on 07/17/2009 07:39:46 AM EST

I asked my Danish girlfriend if it was legal to have sex with animals in Danmark. She said "not any more", there was a big case a few years ago where a man was taking pictures of himself "taking a horse from behind" and posting them on the internet.  Animal control tracked him down and the government then made a law to outlaw......animal fucking.......  My follow up question to her (inspired by your post) was "even if the animals like it?" She then looked at me and said..."no it scared the horses, he was a big farmer."

anyway...

you sure this was denmark... i tried to look it up but couldnt find anything... i cen see it got banned in norway..

The thing is: Some people have different sexual preferences than you and i. How do you judge which preferences are legal and which are not. Gay sex used to be illegal in the states afaik.

This case with the well equipped farmer (liked your girls joke btw) i guess is a case where the animals were harmed. I must admit i never heard about this. But then again bestiality is not a hobby of mine. Of course it should be illegal if the animals are hurt, but what if they're not hurt in any physical or mental way? is it still wrong then and why?

I respectively decline your invitation to have a constructive conversation on beastiality.  She wasn't joking by the way.  She loves animals and was speaking very seriously.... thats why it was so funny.  Lastly what if the horse was 28 and the guy was only 14.....then what?......

by Erauprcwa on 07/17/2009 01:49:12 PM EST

This is actually a pretty good explanation of what ethics is.  And it should be clear from this that religion is completely unnecessary to any discussion of morality or ethics.

How could you even begin to tell if the animal liked it? Even in the rare instance that it did, It would have been unable to consent to sexual intercourse in the first place. It's like saying you can have sex with an 11 year old girl as long as she seems to be enjoying it. Secondly, those comparing homsexuality with bestiality are clearly not forming rational arguments. We're talking about cross species here, completely different. Lastly, chances are, the humans participating will hurt the creature. No, I'm not some enthusiastic animal activist eagerly jumping at an opportunity to bash cruelty to animals, merely pointing out that there are very few species that can take a dick of human size and not feel at least the slightest bit uncomfortable. In any case, such a hypothetical place where men and women are allowed (and maybe even encouraged) to release their sexual frustration on animals is just not a society I would like to raise my children in.
