During the premiere of MTV's Documentary "Paris, Not France," Paris Hilton claimed that Michael Jackson named his daughter after her. Is Paris lying, or did MJ really name his little girl after the promiscuous blond that keeps TYT's third hour full of gossip stories? Tell us what you think and vote in our poll!

man if she is lying this is going to haunt her forever.  Im pretty damn sure michael jackson didnt go to high school, hell even jr high or grade school.  Michael Jackson was in Indiana at the time. I have never seen Paris Hilton claim any roots there let alone anything else.  However it is possible being a "Hilton Heiress" its possible that michael knew Paris's Mom.  But still for her sake l hope she is telling the truth but my vote is based on common sense so i have to go with she is effing lying.

Jackson joined the band at age 5 and by age 8 was doing vocals.  They were on the chitlin circuit touring and his father was a taskmaster trying to force his son's into celebrity and success.   At the age of 10, the Jackson 5 was signed to Motown Records and would have been on the road constantly.  Throughout his highschool years he was making albums and touring and in the middle of his high school years he switched from Motown to CBS records.  (of course all of this is from wikipedia but is consistent with their album releases) 

So with all of that I concur.  I doubt he even attended Junior hight/middle school let alone high school. 

And Kathy Hilton grew up in Whittier, California.  Her first movie role wasn't until she was 20 and it was a bit part.  And she married Richard Hilton at the age of 19/20... so why would Michael Jackson even know who the hell she was?  Kathy Hilton had nothing note worthy about her for them to even know each other.  And why would Michael Jackson go to high school in Whittier, California? (is that Whity-er... like the whiter California?)

Just doesn't makes sense.  Now... it isn't impossible... but I would definately put it with a 95% likelihood that it is total BS.

I'm pretty sure that MJ was Nicole Richie's godfather.  So it might not be so inconceivable that MJ ran in those circles at some point in his life. 

As far as MJ going to H.S. with Kathy Hilton, who the hell knows?  Although it's worth noting that by the time he would have been in high school, the Jackson family was long gone from Gary, IN.  

Bottom line, while I have no truck with Paris, I'm actually going to give her the benefit of the doubt on this one because it seems like something too bizarre to just make up out of whole cloth.

when did Michael Jackson go to high school?  He was so busy with his career that it got to a point where none of the jackson clan could really go to a regular high school or just school in general.  I'm not saying none of them graduated, I don't know the details of that... I don't care to, but the story that Paris Hilton has came up with just doesn't fit.

And WHY now is she coming out saying that MJ named his daughter who is 12 now, after Paris Hilton? wouldn't she have said something years ago?

I for one, believe she is lying. There is absolutely no way for us to validate her statement, since Michael has passed away. That said, we'll never know the actual truth, but considering she hasn't been getting much attention lately it's more probable that she is lying.
