"He's a muslim"
-First of all, you're a racist. I wouldnt give a damn if Obama was a muslim, Jew, Buddist, whatever! And hes not a muslim. Simple as that.
Now the other argument against the muslim thing, is that the founding fathers founded this country on Chirstianity. I love God and Jesus, but the founding fathers also founded this land on white supremacy. And, obviously, we've gotten past that. Cant we also get past the fact that other people have their own ideas and beliefs? It is an amendment. As long as a person of different religion runs this country like it has been running (before Bush) I dont care. And you shoudln't either

"He's spending billions of dollars on potholes"
- Ohhh I get it. When a republican spends money, its okay, but god forbid a democrat does. You people had no problem spending hundreds of billions of dollars in Iraq, but you piss your pants when a democrat tries to spend the money to try to fix the economy.
And about the earmarks... Yes there are over 8000 earmarks in the bill. Yes, some are rediculous things like "Golfcarts for Governors", but listen. Less than 2% of the bill is earmarks. thats nothing to get too upset about. everyone always says "He's using my taxpayer money to pay for crap!" Well, hes also using your money to fix this horrible mess we're in, so relax. After 8 years of Bush I thought you'd be able to deal with something like this.

"I can't believe he's pulling us out of the war. We've been there for 7 years, I'm pretty sure that means it's important"
- Well, is 4000 dead American soldiers important too? How bout dead children? just because we've been there for a while doesnt mean we're doing anything. You think america can find and destroy an enemy that has no real army, no real general, no real stratagy? You think if we kill Osama, it'll all just "end"? Thats stupid. America has wasted its time and money in this war just to kill a couple Islamic radicals. God bless the troops who have tried to do the impossible

"He made fun of the mentally handicapped on Jay Leno"

First of all, chill. That was funny. And i've heard people say "You wouldnt be laughing if it wasnt Obama" well... i would! thats pretty funny coming from anyone! Obama, McCain, Bush, Palin (well, its pretty much expected from Bush and Palin). Besides, it only shows that the man is human. He had no teleprompter, and he was just trying to make the people laugh. Thats nothing to get excited about. Besides, it's not like you never cracked a retard joke. (remember high school?)

"He's making friends with the terrorists"
- First of all.... um..... WHAT? When did he say that? please, send me a link because he NEVER said anything like that. If you watched the inauguration, he actually nailed them. Besides.... who doesn't want to have peace in the world? Hes not gonna make friends with terrorists, but peace with the middle east. Theres a difference

"He's going to let illegal immigrants take over the U.S.!"
- No. No he's not. Unlike Bush and McCain, he has a realistic view of the Immigration problems. Bush and McCain always insisted on kicking every single illegal immigrant out of the country. Are you freaking kidding me? How the hell are you going to catch and deport 11 million people? thats unrealistic my friends. Obama is not going to let them take over, but not let them take as many US jobs either

"If the terrorists attack, we will be screwed!"
- What, did the army become weaker than they used to be? Obama is against war, that makes him weak? That makes him a frikkin savior. This country cant seem to go 20 years anymore without getting in a war. Just because Obamas president doesnt make the country weaker, or seem more vulnerable at all unless you are still in shock the Obama is president, which you really need to get over. Do you really think if we're attacked Obamas just gunna throw up the white flag? Of course not. Thats just ignorant.

"He's destroying America's morals"
- This kind of ties in with abortion, but also on homosexuality as well, and thats what i wanna talk about here. If someone loves someone, does it matter if they're the same gender? Homosexuality is not a choice. These people are BORN gay. Most of them knew when they were little. How dare you say it's a choice! Thats like talking about Jimi Hendrix and saying "Music was just his choice. He could have just as easily been a writer, banker". Thats not true at all. He didnt choose music. He loved music. Freddy Mercury didn't choose men. He loved them. (and if you dont know who im talking about, you should just sit in your room for a while and think about getting out of the rock you live under)

And the whole christianity thing... many many christian scholars and researchers agree that homosexuality is probably okay. I mean, the Vatican a few years ago finally said that there may be life outside of Earth, which, if you said that a few centuries ago, would have gotten you killed. that was a good step forward. I think its just a matter of time until they give the Okay on homosexuality. Not like anyones waiting for it though.

And if you can say you love gay people, but don't want them to get married, you're a liar. How can you say you support someone when you cant even give them their constitutional rights? "Life, Liberty, Persuit of Happiness"? and the argument that "Marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman". Well, i dont care how Webster defines it, its a sacred bond between two lovers. Besides, heterosexual marriage has already destroyed the "sacred bond" as far as I'm concerned. 1/2 of all marriages end in divorce!! 1/2!!!! Thats fucking insane! I would know, my parents got divorced 3 years ago, and it fucking sucks! I would rather have 2 dads, than 2 different houses.
