New polls released today. Seriously these polls lately have only shown the stupidity in America these past couple months. These polls are nothing more than IQ test for the brainless in America.

NEW CBS POLL: 67% AREN'T CLEAR OF HEALTHCARE PROPOSAL. 31% KNOW WHAT THE PROPOSAL IS ABOUT.

Can't blame some of them ... sure many Liberals are part of this 67% ... You hear the "public Option" is dead today .. you hear it's not Tomorrow ...

Plus there isn't a final Bill as yet ... all the focus is on the Finance Committee Bill .. & those working on it ... Republicans & Blue Dogs .. state something today & contradict themselves tomorrow .. that where the majority of the Confusion is steming from ..

One hears Obama supports a Public Option .. Simultaneously you hear those in the Finance Committee who are working on their version of the bill & who Obama interacts with the most when it comes to crafting the Bill ... Doesn't not support a Public Option, Some in the committee like Grassley are even stating they are death panels etc .. in the Bill

ignorant? hell yes. i truly believe that if the news media actually did its job, americans would not be so hopelessly ignorant. its very unfortunate, but most (maybe i shouldnt say most, not sure) americans are still under the illusion that "if they put it on TV, it must be true!" They dont realize that there are no truth police. You can say whatever the hell you want on tv. I know this seems obvious to us, but there is a huge swath of our population who flat out DO NOT GET IT.

Honestly, I've always believed that the form of ignorance is the underlying tone of stupidity. For example, racists aren't stupid, they're ignorant in the sense that the issue of race is not a simple subject and grants a discussion to move forward.

The issue of the public option which is the current debate, you say the people are ignorant, I call them dumb. Yeah, it's the medias job to report the fallacies in what's being misrepresented but it's the duty of the individual to decipher the information granted to them.  The information is out there if you yourself want to learn "the truth" but individuals choose to stay ignorant of those facts which in turn in my opinion is STUPIDITY, for not wanting to seek the truth.

Now one can make the argument, how do you find "the truth" when lots of materials are partisan. Well, in a perfect world a person would realize what's partisan and what's not. But wait, we live in a society today that doesn't care about finding the facts, If Glenn Beck told me, it must be true. If Keith Olbermann said it, I must repeat. Studies have shown over the decades Americans in essence have gotten dumber in the sense that they don't have interests in affairs other than American Idol and Entertainment Tonight.

When one side says one thing and one side says the other, it would be easy to be confused, especially when the news media has failed to expose the lies for what they are.
