Don't Tread on Me!!!

^^^ the motto is quite Liberal if you think about it.

I know you have all seen this flag at the Tea Party protests:

Gadsden Flag

But what does it truly mean???

the origin of this flag dates back to the revolutionary period when colonists were trying to unite the colonies to fight off the British Empire. as you know the Thirteen colonies were separate before they were united. as a stride to unite, Benjamin Franklin illustrated this cartoon in an American newspaper entitled: Join or Die!

Join or die

Benjamin Franklin stressed to the colonies that if we did not unite then the way of life we seek would not become a reality.when they colonies untied, the snake in the picture above was united and the Don't tread on me flag symbolized that we were united and could not be broken.

call me knowledgeable, but don't you think these idiot tea parties have thrown the meaning of this flag out of context. they think that the flag means to fight against the government and to separate from Liberals.  and to devote your life by the rules of the constitution. "Are you freakin' kidding me?!" the constitution, the same constitution that George W. Bush has been wiping his ass with for the past 8 years! these tea party idiots swear they follow by the rules of "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness". but not guaranteeing health care for all Americans is a denial of Life in my book. the first amendment in the constitution gives the right to free religion, but it was Ike Eisenhower, a conservative, who added "Under God" to the Pledge of Alliance in 1954. that's a violation to the constitution in my book. there are many more violations to the constitution that the conservatives have bestowed. if anything, the tea parties are Anti-Constitution.

I find it aggravating when i see this on the news

anti obama

you know damn well as i do, that when people protested against the president during the Vietnam War, or accused the president of being a Communist in the late 60s, the conservatives flipped their fucking lid!!!! often using military force to break up the protesters.

anyway back to the flag. these idiot truck driving tea party goers think that the flag means not to mess with them because their from  "The God loving patriot part of 'merica" and that their here to expose us of being unpatriotic pussies and for trying to destroy our own country. And they hit the nail on the head!!!!!! you are absolutely right, tea party goers. us, liberals, hate this country. we want to destroy it piece by piece and drag you all into communism. you're absolutely right. how did you ever guess? did you hear it in a Toby Keith song? even though it was mostly liberals who created this country. Liberals are more bi-partisan then the Right. We are trying to unite both parties, and after all isn't that the true meaning of the Don't tread on me Flag? and as a sub note, the flag was created in New England, which now is strongly Liberal. and has always been.

they also use this flag

naval jack

which is a US Naval jack. and has nothing to do with their protests. as a future sailor, this pisses me off when i see this flag at their protests, and the DToM flag, and their signs, and the people. i just fuckin hate everything about the tea party protests.

i have stumbled upon a tea party youtube channel. this channel is filled with bullshit lies and idiotic arguments. if you want to set this fucker straight just click on his name. his youtube name is secularstupidest leave him a comment, send him a message. this fucker needs to know the truth.

well, good bye, or should i say до свид ;аниn 3;!!!

also probably think that the Boston Tea Party was to protest being taxed. Actually the impetus was a tax break for a large multi-national corporation, The East India Trading Company. Britain gave EIT a break on Tea import taxes (basically eliminating them) to the colonies. Which would have made it impossible for colonial tea traders to compete. So it was, in its context, a protest against tax cuts for wealthy corporations, which the right is also very much for.

Will somebody please "tread on" the spammers who keep posting ads for essays and resumes written by ESL students?
