Even 'why you grabin' President Obama canceled his trip this week to China .. and your off to some dark pub drinking Guinness..

Asked to speak at a prestigious media summit about how to make the main stream media steer to the left. 

I think seeing as he is one of the most progressive hosts in the media he should get probably speak

He can help solve a problem in the media while he's there.

We already know how the health care pseudo-reform legislation is going to turn out: it won't have a public option, it won't significantly reduce costs, and it will leave the insurance and pharmaceutical companies in control of our health care system.  When the bill passes, it will be an event worth noting, but it's not unexpected, and nothing new will result that we don't already know about.

Cenk is better off where he's at.  After all, he's an authority on the subject of the media, being a prominent figure in it himself.

...stateside is enough.  We have known how nearly every detail of this disaster was going to turn out since _at least_ December.

We might _all_ wish we were in the UK soon.

Not only is Ben fantastic, I'm really enjoying Mark Thompson's input, too. They're a great team.

I hope we see more of both of them, together or separately.

Ben does 2 things; 1.he talks far too little, and much of it is incoherent, 2.he talks FAR too much and much of it is incoherent.

Let the poor man have a break, and Ben is no slouch, hosting his own cable show. I am also looking forward to a day or 2 of Brian, and all the varying hosts they will have.

The other part that is being overlooked... It will be great when Cenk returns, and Im pretty sure he will have some wild-ass stories.

I skip the show completely when Ben hosts, hell I even skip the parts where he is a guest. Never seen someone who is so in love with their own voice. He cuts people off, talks over them... annoying at best, no thanks.

Hopefully when Cenk talks to a lot of ppl here -the subject of our free National Health Service will crop up -and it will seem obvious that this has not led to "death panels" or a Soviet or Cuba style State.

 In fact -sadly -the centre right "Tory" party look set to do the best in our imminent election -and even THEY have promised not to cut spending on the NHS. It's just too popular to mess around with.

British accent. He always sounds so silly when he tries the British accent and I think this trip is exactly what he needs. He does a hilarious Indian accent and is not so bad at the Chinese accent. I even like his Irish accent.

However, the British accent needs major work and I suspect that's why he went....
