Cenk tweets us that he's "been called 'smashing' and 'brilliant' here [at the Changing Media Summit]. I like it. I can't wait to speak in a British accent when I come back on the show on Mon."

While I have no doubt about his reception, especially after his undoubtable prediction that TYT will "destroy the old media", I'm worried about that accent bit.  Now we'll have to hear a Russian-Turkish version of an English accent!

I've got $10 that says it'll be closer to Transylvanian.

what concerns me most isn't the accuracy of the accent, but how many times per hour I have to hear it in the next 3 months of TYT

At least I was spared the Irish "accent" for Patty's day.

I keep forgetting to send Jayar some Irish stuff that kicks ass other than that traditional stuff. Gotta send some Shane MacGowan, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, etc...

Did anyone hear that one Brit refer to something that Cenk said as "utter rubbish" after his talk on the panel?  I don't know if it was a joke or if he was referencing something else, but I almost laughed my ass off when I heard this comment.

Anyway, great talk on the media in the age of the asteroid cause we're coming for yeah!!  Oh yeah, stay away from that "spotted dick."  Not the schlong - the English cake they call "spotted dick" you pervy wankers!

And I don't think it was a joke, but I laughed, too.  Cenk was hyping the show to the max, and he may have gone a little over the top a couple of times.  But I think the fellow who said that "a lot of what [Cenk] said was utter rubbish" had an axe to grind: I think he was a major media rep.

Cenk has a long way to go on the English accent... He just doesn't spend enough time with Brits.

Plus he needs to get some other terms besides "quite right"...  he's already beaten that one to death...
