What the MSM "News" is really like

Ahh, the Onion. They can flop sometimes, and they've had a few of those lately. But when they nail it, they really nail it.

This little video is the most crudely eloquent commentary on MSM "News" broadcasting that I have heard since Don Henley's Dirty Laundry, uhhh, 20 years ago? Maybe 25?

Clever enough. (none / 0)

Could have been completely done without the cursing, though, other than maybe the line "I'm just some f*cking guy."  That was needed to juice up the line.  But otherwise, the cursing took away from the rest of the "subtext as text" laughs, rather than enhancing them (i.e. if the abbreviation BS had been used throughout, the comedy would have lost nothing.)

So I give it an 8, "which is just an arbitrary number designed to make it seem like I have a smart, reliable rating system for a comedy bit I have no particular expertise judging."
