How the GOP Creates Jobs

I will go on record and state that the GOP is the most successful job creation engine ever devised.

Hands down.

Every minute of every day Republican politicians everywhere have but one thought in their pointed little heads; “How can I create more jobs today?”

Unfortunately, the jobs GOP policies have created are overseas, mostly in China and India.

This is but one of thousands of stories of how Republicans "create jobs" in the US.

You're living in your own Private Idaho.

Keep off the patio,
keep off the path.
The lawn may be green
but you better not be seen
walkin' through the gate that leads you down,
down to a pool fraught with danger
is a pool full of strangers.

Bruce Otter campaigned for the Governorship of Idaho as a “job” creator. His motto was "Limited Government and Unlimited Opportunity".

He states that his programs and ideas are “empowering Idahoans".

One program Butch touts on his campaign site is “Enabling more parents to connect with their children at “Read to Me” community library programs throughout Idaho”.

Good thing too, because Butch laid off several thousand teachers after cutting 128 million  from  the education budget. That enabled Butch  to declare a “funding emergency” that under state law opened the door for districts to negotiate lower pay and benefits or lay off educators to help balance the books.

They also like to create jobs by going to war. Lots and lots of defense contractors.

it has to be, I can't take it anymore.

They run the economy into the ground then get kicked out in favor of Democrats, who then create jobs.

Then the Republicans run on a platform of lowering taxes because the economy is good.

If you mention how FDR fixed the worst economy in the history of our nation, the wingnuts will say it was "because of the war."

Ask them how come Bush had a crappy economy in spite of "the war" and they will start tap dancing.

by purposely posting over sized images to hijack or otherwise screw up the thread, consider it done. Or you can ask Tim to delete your post and re post when you figure out how to post images that fit in the columns. Your choice.

"If you don't like the current state of the economy, it's pretty easy to find those responsible."

Yep, it sure is. People like you.

During the eight years the Republicans were destroying the economy, you excused them over and over again. Two years into a Democratic administration and now you are suddenly impatient for Democrats to have fixed all of your screw ups?

You must really think highly of Obama if you think he can fix the disasterous results of the worst Presidental administration in recent history in a quarter of the time it took you to screw things up in the first place (from a budget surplus I might add).

Republicans are like the Captain of the Titanic sitting in a life raft, criticizing his rescuers for not rowing fast enough.

its so small I can hardly see it?

Bush tax cuts  for the rich created about 3. 2  jobs   the .2 are the immigrant lawn mowers  that make a half a million a yr

750.000  jobs a month where being lost near the end of the Bush debacle .. outside bizarro  world this would be a bad thing

The economy collapsed.. we where on the brink of the second great depression and we are currently in the worst depression since then

all brought to you by your friends  the regressives

And yet the regressives dont have a plan.. other than return to exactly what got us in this disaster to begin with.

If the Democrats repeated these simple truths enough

Boner would have even more time to go Golfing

I got all truthy on your ass... I fear you are going to melt like the bad witch in Wizard Of Oz

Historically, nearly EVERY Democratic administration has left office with unemployment lower than when it started.

Historically, nearly EVERY Republican adminstration has left office with unemployment higher than when it started.

Ken/Hugh/Sockpuppet gets all excited when he posts a (large) graph showing unemployment has only bottomed out, halfway though Obama's first term.

Why is it the wingnuts think Democrats should only need two years to fix their eight years of screw ups?

IIRC, unemployment rose to nearly 15% during Reagan's first term.

Why is it the wingnuts are the ones who are always complaining how they don't make enough money?

Why is it the wingnuts are the ones who are always bragging how others give them things they don't have to pay for; cars, health care, etc...?

but the truth is that the Dems have done better, but not much.

Dems are almost as beholden to special interests as Republicans, and working families get the short end of the pepperoni every time.

Conservative ideas made policy ruined this economy.  It's too bad that so many Democrats (like our President) embrace those ideas.

I also think that jobs are gone in part to trade policies, but in part to the tidal pull of history.  We left the Industrial Age about 20 years ago, and people my age are just realizing this.  The young get it, but are stuck in a nation ruled by 'boomers who don't.  I don't have a grossly oversized graph to illustrate my point, just my 2 cents.

both parties own this crisis.  Vote independents, greens, socialists, anybody but Republicans and Democrats.

Don't waste your vote, vote Green or Independent in the next election.

Vote independents, greens, socialists

Just don't forget to kiss your vote goodbye before you do so.
