Why we should have faith in a 2nd term of a Barack Obama Presidency.

A comprehensive and thoroughly descript commentary on why we should hold some measure of "hope" for a bold vision of an assertive, revolutiona ry and astonishing second term from our President.

You shouldn't and if you do dare to dream, at this point, you are pretty much an idiot.

That's all well and good, but there are at least a couple of dozen easy bullet points that would thoroughly and convincingly illustrate the point.  I'd list them, but it's your post, and I'll give you a chance to do it first.

that would be helpful. A litmus test would also be good.

As an example. Why would we buy into this new more assertive Obama and his intent to go after the banks when one of the primary criminals is his sec of treas....Tim Giethner?

Illustrate to what end?  I came to the conclusion through personal experience that people are simply idiotic when it comes to political reasoning.  Yes, one can make a laundry list of issues that will not do the most important task in the telling: convince someone who bases their information not on research or objective perspectives but on "feeling" or "going with the gut".  It appears information that does not fall into a realm of black & white ideology is beyond a TON of peoples' grasp intellectually.  Not that this makes them inferior mentally so to speak but more consciously or unconsciously keeps them from understanding any real sense of reality beyond basic principles.  At this point in American history, it is obvious most people on one "team" or the other don't even really know what their party stands for anymore because they are so blurred together as to make any meaningful difference irrelevent....hence, idiots.

In 2008 Obama promised to live within the Campaign Finance System rules; but as soon as he realized how much he could raise OUTSIDE the system, he broke that promise. Did he do THAT to keep up with McCain and the GOP? NO!!! He did it to beat McCain over the head with his greater resources.

What happened that time? Every group that gave big to Obama got protected. Wall Street, Big Pharma, Mulit-Nationals ... When has Obama EVER stood up to his big contributors in favor of his base? Why believe it will be different this time? The SuperPAC donors will own any Obama second term.

To quote that great orator, George W. Bush: "Fool me once, ahhh, shame on you. Fool me twice ... Can't get Fooled Again ..." Well, at least I won't get fooled again by Obama.
