Michigan is/was the final state that John McCain would snag from the Democrats if an election was held today. McGrumpy have held on to the state for about a month now - but all things come to an end.

Been thinking a little about the Republican National Convention that is going to be held at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MI in September. Thinking about why they put the convention in Minnesota of all places, when they don't have much to gather there. So here is my two cents about the 2008 RNC, or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Womb.

Barack Obama is about to secure the Democratic nomination - Associated Press have already called it for Obama, too. Hillary Clinton will hold a speech in New York tonight where she will either drop out and endorse Obama, or acknowledge his victory but say that she will fight on anyway. (That last option would be Hell for Hillary.)

How's things going for John McCain and his post-primary honeymoon season? Not doing too well - now losing Missouri, according to a new SurveyUSA poll.

Bob Barr makes McCain sweat in N. Carolina

I wrote on the "Minnesota Nice" article that Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr would steal votes from John McCain in favor of Barack Obama - becoming the Ralph Nader of 2008 (except that the guy with the most votes would win this time).

I've been writing (read: nagging) a lot lately about how some of the recent Obama gains have been overshadowed by John McCrazy taking the lead in Wisconsin and Michigan - gaining those states if a election would be held today. Scary thought. Brrrrrr.

Wisconsin have heard the fingers snap and are back from the hypnosis, according to a new SurveryUSA poll!

New general election poll up for Minnesota from Rasmussen - nothing new really to report here. But it can be a good idea to spread the word anyway.

Read through the comments posted on my latest article about Obama taking the lead in New Hampshire and Ohio, and got a really good comment that I would like to reply to. And plug a few sites while I'm at it, too.

Wrote yesterday about how Obama clinched the lead in the Virginia polls, but still trailed McCain in the electoral vote counting. I've collected some polls from New Hampshire and Ohio putting Obama in the lead - and getting past McCain in the electoral count. Wanna see, wanna see?

To begin with; this is my first post at The Young Turks Community - and I'm still trying to find my way around here, so it might take a while for me to really get "warm in the clothes", as we say here in Sweden. Anyhow, I thought I'd start my posting with publishing some general election numbers (Obama-McCain) from Virginia, that will surely cheer us up.
