Obama's Tipping Point
I have been saying for a long time now that President Obama is the world's worst negotiator and has absolutely no interest in fighting for progressive principles. I didn't make this up out of the whole cloth. I voted for the guy and I desperately wanted him to succeed. But my job is to cover politics and when you cover Obama all you see is him running for cover.Let me give you a small example nobody talks about, but I think is telling. After Gabby Giffords was shot, his administration indicated that he would do a major speech on gun control ... later. I told my audience that was not going to happen. Why? Because I know Obama. He hates, hates, hates conflict. And he would never take on an issue where he did not have overwhelming support. It's not in his nature.

Its Deja Vu all over again!
I was cleaning up my hard drives and stumbled across a stash of old blogs and op-eds. This piece was written in the bad good old days of Fall 2007.
It has its good points and bad and some just outright wrong but I think most of you are coming to the realization that many of us came to long ago; the US economy is becoming a two track economy with 9% unemployed being the new normal. The rich do well..everyone else, not so much. The reason may surprise you: the "war on terror".

“Our goal has always been to avoid inflammatory posts, as well as those that seek to make connections that are not supported by the evidence. Since Saturday’s tragic shootings, all of our editors have been alerted to pay extra attention to our policy. We love having Cenk’s voice as part of our mix and appreciate the passion he brings to his argument but, for us, this post fell outside our editorial guidelines.”

The Truth is out there
Judging from the amount of evidence available with tax cuts not helping domestic growth and helps feed into the destruction of the middle class. By now you've heard about Obama Press Secretary Robert Gibbs slamming progressives. But you may not have heard reaction from partisan Democratic party/admin apologists which is why I'm sharing this random blog excerpt from a random blogger:

...Cenk Uyger who claims to be King Progressive, has called every bill remotely having anything to do with the financial system including the new financial regulatory reform bill a "bailout". Does Cenk have a background in finance? Hell no. So how does he comes to this conclusion? Because firebaggers and Matt Taibbi told him they were. Does he have any proof? Of course not.

All quotes stand on their own. While the subject may claim they were taken out of context, comments like "I hate all liberals" need little context to convey the intended meaning. Also the subjects short, demonstrative sentences contain all the context a reader needs to understand the true intent.
So far the editors and I have only reviewed about 1/5 of the posts, we do it on our spare time and while listening to the show. We will be updating this blog periodically with new "truths" as time goes on. Remember, if KenTX or his sockpuppets said it, he most likely contradicted somewhere in the vast archives of TYT.
