Dogan Uygur is Cenk's dad. He was born in Kilis, Turkey. Grew up in a farming family in Southeastern Turkey. His brother taught him to focus on education. He eventually received a Master's Degree in the United States and became a very successful mechanical engineer, businessman and real estate developer. He now boasts of dozens of victories in "The Parent Trap," played on The Young Turks on Fridays.
