Grew up in northern NJ, moved south after college--majoring in design, business, computers. I've been doing free-lance art and consulting since then. I became interested in solar energy through NASA, science articles, Earth Day. We live in a passive solar house.

After a long trip to the south Pacific with my future husband, we've continued traveling throughout the world when we can, never letting lack of money keep us home too long. I learn more about the United States by looking from the outside, and appreciate it more with each trip.
