I am a 20 year-old college student at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. I grew up in Monmouth Junction and went to South Brunswick High School but was born in India and moved here at the age of 1. I am currently a Political Science and Public Policy minor. I was a Republican for most of my life but I now consider myself an Independent because I am disgusted with the current base of the Republican party after the Purge of the moderates during the 06 and 08 elections as Bush's incompetence got moderate republicans replaced by corporatist democrats and now both bases are too far to the right than they should be.
