The Young Turks

I'm one of the most motivated people you will ever meet. I sped up the process of maintaining an undergrad and graduated from California State University Northridge with a B.A in Broadcast Journalism. I was only 20 on my graduation day, and I started working on my Political Science Masters by 21. If destiny permits, I should have my M.A completed by the time I'm 22. I'm definitely going to work on a PhD afterward. I want to keep my nose in the media business and be a professor on the side so I can make a decent living. Then I'll dive into politics. My dream has always been to serve on the L.A City Council. My boss thinks I'm crazy.

I'm Armenian. Both my parents were born and raised in the Capital of Armenia, known as Yerevan. However, I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I am the most Americanized Armenian ever...at least when it comes to my beliefs. I do read, write, and speak Armenian.

I live life as actively as possible. I love to work out, dance, run, and hike. Traveling is also a passion of mine, although it's hard to get away with it when you're in school with a full time job. In the summer of 2007 I traveled throughout Europe and came back with a different mind-set. There's a lot to see out there and not nearly enough time to see it.

I virtually started my career when I was 19. I got hired at CBS Radio as a news producer and somehow fell into The Young Turks. I think I have the best job on earth. I may not be rich, but I look forward to sitting in traffic for two hours to make it to our studios. My boss is funny, my co-workers are awesome, and it's a great way to stay informed about issues that really matter.
